PROVINCIAL MANAGER: FREE STATE Applications are invited from Area Managers and Senior Social Workers for the following position within CWSA: • PROVINCIAL MANAGER (FREE STATE) KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS The Provincial Manager is responsible for leading the team in the Province to advance the Organisation’s work at the Provincial level. A strong focus will be on developing and managing relationships with Child Welfare Member Organisations, partners and stakeholders, and working with them to foster new relationships as well as providing input into the Organisation’s strategic growth plans. The broad activities will include: Capacity Building, Supervision, Training and Organizational Development, Advocacy and Policy Development, Public Awareness and Developing services in underserviced areas. QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION INCLUDE: • B.A. Degree in Social Work, • Registration with the SACSSP, with at least 8 years’ experience in Management, Practice, Supervision, Consultation, Developmental Social Work, Report Writing and committed to Social Transformation, • Proven leadership skills at a high level. Clear strategic mindset with analytical focus, innovation and creativity essential. Experience in managerial levels required, • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams. High level negotiation skills, • Strong finance and business management acumen, experience in management of budget and finances are essential, • Results driven, project management skills, problem solving, organisational and planning skills required, • Demonstrated ability to ensure successful relationships with stakeholders, • Knowledge of the NPO Sector and Child Welfare Services, more specific Child Protection, Statutory work and Poverty Relief, • Knowledge of the Interpretation and Application of the Children’s Act No. 38 van 2005, including the Norms and Standards, • Excellent Communication Skills (both verbal and written), • Computer literate and Proficiency in the use of Computer Applications (Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation Packages and Internet Applications), • Driver’s license with own reliable transport. Salary will be structured on a Cost to Company base and will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
