Experienced Administrative Officers as well as Trained Social Auxiliary Workers from the Jobs Fund project are encouraged to apply for the following position within CWSA: • 1 x ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER FREE STATE KEY PERFORMANCE AREA The Administrative Officer will, under the supervision of the Provincial Manager, assist the Managers in all aspects of the Organisation’s activities providing the Managers with Administrative, Secretarial and Logistical Support. QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITIONS INCLUDE: • Diploma / Certificate in Social Auxiliary Work, • Registration with SACSSP, • Valid Driver’s License, • Familiarity working with / in Non-Profit environments, and willingness to work in an area needed, • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, • Strong administrative, planning, organizational, and general office management skills, event/function management skills, as well as any other functions deemed necessary at the time of employment. • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, • Computer literate and Proficiency in the use of Computer Applications (Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation Packages and Internet Applications), RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: • Provide Administrative, Secretarial and Logistical Support, • General Administrative Support: Typing of various Reports, Filing and Administrative Processing of documents, • Management of the managers’ diaries ie. planning the diary and ensuring that meetings are confirmed and well-coordinated. • Handling interactions including Operating Reception, Telephone, Fax, Mail and other types of Correspondence, follow up actions and other related processes, • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, accept and decline invitations and handling them when appropriate. Salary will be structured on a Cost to Company base and will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
