NASW-SA TO HOLD CONFERENCE

The first independent conference of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW-SA) was held from 28 to 30 September 2011 in Durban. The theme of the conference was “Repositioning Social Service Professions for a Developmental State.”

30 Years of Service Delivery

Sharm Maharaj has been the President of the Phoenix Child and Family Welfare Society for 10 years. He is a founding member of the Society and has served as a dedicated and committed Child Welfare volunteer for the last 32 years

Phoenix Child and Family Welfare Society is celebrating 30 years of service delivery in child protection and welfare to their communities. The organisation was established in 1981 and has grown into a central pillar of care and protection. CWSA would like to salute the volunteers at Phoenix Child and Family Welfare Society for their dedication to the organisation, the vulnerable children and families they serve.
