Glocell Supports CWSA Child Protection Programmes

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, GloCell has selected Child Welfare South Africa (CWSA) to be one of its major beneficiaries.  The funds and resources that GloCell raises on behalf of CWSA are meant to assist the organisation in its undivided support for children in South Africa.

In its contribution, GloCell has developed a mobile site (www.cwsa.mobi) that contributes money towards CWSA every time the CWSA song One Heart at a Time is downloaded. One of the co-authors of the song is a GloCell employee, Sue Smit.

Moreover, GloCell runs three Premium SMS donation lines and have waived all their costs, which means, a large percentage of the net revenue is paid to CWSA in support of the protection of South African children.

GloCell is planning more fund raising initiatives for 2011 to support CWSA in its child protection programmes.
